The hidden curriculum of the workplace is the social information that everyone is expected to know without being taught. This information is assumed to be known and understood by everyone. These unwritten rules can be especially confusing for individuals on the autism spectrum. However, they are important to know because following the hidden curriculum is considered polite and professional behaviour.
